Here's the holy grail of fans in excellent original as found condition. I bought this years ago, attic fresh from Kansas. The dovetailed walnut battery box the fan is mounted to has a light bulb inside visible thru the hole on side. Windings appear good. This looks like it was put up for the winter and forgot about. Nice as they get!
