Soap Box Derby Race Car 1930's

When I found this racer, here in West Virginia I thought I was on to the little rascals garage. There was some serious visionary design work went into this. This is an official Soap Box Derby Racer, following The body is made of wooden store boxes with old coaster wagon parts for steering. The rules say the rig can weigh up to 250 lbs. The seat is a cast iron safe, so if that didn't get the car up to the weight limit you could fill it with lead sinkers! It has official issued soap box derby 12" wheels. 1930's WV license plates for fenders and waterproof flashlite for night time runs! Hand held emergency brake and foot powered spring action brakes, and you better be wearing a good pair of sneakers just in case! 64" long. This thing rolls very smooth and at 250 pounds it will flat out haul ass, scary. I think this wasn't run much or it would have been splinters. Spanky and Alfalfa would have been fighting over this!
